Project partners

Overview

GrassBirdHabitats is managed by multiple so-called beneficiaries. The coordinating beneficiary is the Ministry for the Environment, Energy and Climate Protection of Lower Saxony. It has commissioned its subordinate authority Lower Saxony Water Management, Coastal and Nature Protection Agency (NLWKN) to implement the project.

Additionally, there are six associated beneficiaries that are part of the project – two of them in Germany and four in the Netherlands:

  • Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park Administration (NLPV)
  • BIO-CONSULT OS (BIOCON)
  • University of Groningen (RUG)
  • Province of Fryslân (FRL)
  • Collectief Súdwestkust (SWK)
  • Bond Friese VogelWachten (BFVW)
