Dear readers,

it is currently quiet in our project areas in the Netherlands and Germany, as most of our meadow birds are still in Spain, Portugal or even Senegal. Their locations are sent to us by multiple transmitter birds we have equipped with lightweight GPS tags.

We would like to use this time without the characteristic meadow bird calls to give you the latest information about the LIFE IP GrassBirdHabitats.

In the following articles you can read what has happened in the last few months after the breeding season. From published articles about scientifc research and the latest developments in our cooperation in Senegal to the participation in various media articles, a lot has happened. Of course, we will also let you know what our meadow birds are up to with our Portuguese colleagues in the rice fields at the Tagus.

The LIFE IP GrassBirdHabitats team wishes you an enjoyable time reading!
