Rewetting of fen soils – perspectives, possibilities and limits

Guided field trip to the Dümmer

Heinrich Belting, project manager of GrassBirdHabitats, organises an expert field trip to the Dümmer. This half-day excursion brings local nature conservation authorities and associations together to talk about possibilities and limits of fen soil rewetting.

Prof. Dr Joachim Blankenburg, expert in soil and water balance, will report about his research work at the Dümmer and other sites.
